Check your firewall/port settings. I believe the host (whoever is playing as Isaac) needs to open the port on their router or firewall to allow Origin to connect. A shortcut way of doing this enabling DMZ host, but that is risky because that opens up all your ports to everything.

With so many deadites and general mayhem on screen, this thing will lag like it's being played through a cup n' string connection even if people are playing in the same room together. As such, it would be nice to be able to have a direct connection to your co-op partner's PC to mitigate the potential slideshow the game could very well descend into.
