Game of Thrones and The Lord of the Rings are two of the most popular high fantasy franchises ever. Both book series had incredibly successful on-screen adaptations, with viral fanbases that constantly debate which is better. The worlds of J.R.R. Tolkien and George R.R. Martin are so similar, yet so different, so what’s better: Game of Sansa ever marrying or even coming into contact with Ramsay Bolton seems so unlikely because, as of the end of the latest released book, Sansa is still in the Eyrie with Sweetrobin Arryn and Petyr Baelish. She's still posing as Petyr's daughter Alayne, and as the Lady of the Eyrie is gone since Lysa's death, Sansa is essentially acting as the Pyat, a minor character, hasn’t actually been present for several books now, though Xaro mentions to Daenerys in book five that his warlock bud is still very much alive and plans to get revenge As well the cinematography and editing, which are cinematic quality as well. One cannot talk about 'Game of Thrones' without mentioning the thematically, orchestrally and atmospherically multi-layered music scoring and the unforgettable main theme. Again, worthy of a high-budget fantasy/action/drama film.
Everyone loves Bronn of the Blackwater in Game of Thrones, and this is partly due to changes from the original books.HBO's Game of Thrones has never been a verbatim adaptation of George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice & Fire novels, and it's generally accepted that the further the series deviated from its source material, the less popular it became.
The books also offer a level of detail that you simply cannot get from a tv show, including some scenes that simply could not be added to the show (eg, Tower of Joy). If you enjoy fantasy, enjoy reading, and enjoy Game of Thrones, then you will absolutely enjoy every moment of A Song of Ice and Fire. 5. IcarusElsie.
