I have a 2006 Focus 1.8 TDCI. On occasions the warning light comes on, the display shows "ENGINE SYSTEMS FAULT" and the car goes into limp mode. Plugging in the analyser at my local garage shows PO380, which I believe is a glow plug circuit malfunction. The fault first happened about 3 weeks ago then went away. Now it comes and goes again.

Hi Guys, i have recently starterd to experience problems with my 2011 1.6tdci focus mk2 once it hits approx 1800rpm the traction control light comes on and the engine will not rev any higher, any ideas what might be causing this, i suspect a wheel speed sensor but the abs light is not coming on.

If I try to clear the code the yellow check engine light disappears and the tool shows 0 codes, but the warning screen still shows and the car is still in limp mode. After a day it goes back to the first stage again.
